Our Health Walk
Enjoy the nature sports around the Lac de Bonnefon campsite.
At 700 meters from the Aveyron campsite, you can enjoy a health trail in the Gamasse forest, with 18 stations to perform different physical exercises on a 1900 meters loop. This course is very popular with the jogging enthusiasts and dogs fans.
The equestrian center La grange de la Plane, 1 kilometer from the campsite, offers pony or horse riding, open to experienced riders as well as beginners, accompanied by a state-qualified instructor for the greatest pleasure for young and old. Open from Monday to Saturday lunchtime in July and August by reservation.

SEGALA WILDLIFE PARK
Less than half an hour from our campsite in Aveyron, for a walk in a natural setting, accessible by pram and for the little ones, the Pradinas Animal Park allows you to discover a variety of animals with 200 animals housed. Some of the animals you’ll meet are movie stars (bears, wolves, birds of prey…). The park organizes activities every hour in July and August, during the school holidays and on Sundays and public holidays. To really experience life in the park, you can also become an Animal Caretaker for a day. You can also visit the Museum of Agricultural Traditions and enjoy a meal next to the playground.
LE JARDIN DES BETES
Here’s an amusement park for all ages, just 40 minutes from our campsite in Aveyron. With its animals, rides, water games, automatons and labyrinth, it’s sure to please the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest. All attractions are unlimited.
SAINT HUBERT PARC
Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage or car and meet 150 semi-free-ranging animals in a 30-hectare park. After that, daredevils can try out the trampoline nets in the trees at the Trampoforest Adventure Park. Jump, climb, roll and slide your way up the trees. From mid-September to mid-October, you can enjoy the sound of the stag bellowing.
Our Natural Bathing Areas
VAL DE LENNE LAKE
The shores of the Val de Lenne lake are 15 km from our campsite in Naucelle. Situated in the commune of Baraqueville, this 17 hectare lake is an ideal place to spend time with family or friends, relaxing on the fine sandy beach. Bathing is supervised by a BNSSA qualified lifeguard from July to August. With its many facilities, the aquatic centre offers a wide range of fun and leisure activities (multi-sports ground / bowls ground / fitness trail / walking trails / supervised swimming area / orienteering course / picnic area). The water sports centre offers pedalos, kayaks, canoes, windsurfing boards and stand-up paddle boards. You can also go fishing.
ROUCARIE LAKE
At 25 kilometers far from the campsite near the Tarn, enjoy a relaxing moment on the edge of the Roucarié lake, on the commune of Almayrac (Tarn).
With 35 hectares of water and its banks in wooded areas, this lake offers visitors a green and exotic setting with a green and exotic setting. Developed as a leisure center, many activities are offered such as a fitness trail, games for children, sailing and rowing … Swimming is allowed and supervised (from 10 am to 7 pm) on the bank of Almayrac in July and August.
Two nautical bases on the site : rowing, canoeing, pedal boats, windsurfing and sailing. Animals forbidden on the beach and in the swimming area.
Feel like a thrill?
CAP’DECOUVERTE
For lovers of strong sensations, discover the amusement park Cap Découverte, just outside Albi, in the commune of Le Garric (Tarn) at 30 kilometres from the Lac de Bonnefon campsite. This former open-cast mine, the giant pit, 1100 metres in diameter and 300 metres deep, has been transformed into a multi-activity centre. The park extends over 100 hectares in the heart of nature and offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities (inflatable water park, giant cable car, paint ball, downhill go-kart, tobogganing, skate park ….). Open every day during July and August.
You can also visit the Titans Park. These giant mining machines are on display overlooking the park.
NAJAC
Just 45 km from the campsite, Najac is one of France’s 11 most beautiful villages in Aveyron. Situated on a rocky ridge, its fortified castle overlooks the Aveyron. At its foot, the Najac leisure centre offers canoeing, kayaking and rafting, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of these wild gorges. The river is full of rapids accessible to all. You can also discover 7 accrobranche courses with monkey bridges, Tarzan jumps, pendular jumps, zip wires and hire mountain bikes. Open from April to October.
GIANT ZIP LINE
The Colombelles Adventure Park is just outside Rodez, 30 minutes from the Lac de Bonnefon campsite. It offers 9 courses for children aged 3 and over. In July and August, you can take a zip-line across the Bozouls Canyon. A unique geological jewel in the Occitanie region, this fun and unusual crossing will leave you with unforgettable memories of Aveyron.
ALONG THE TARN RIVER
In the department of the Tarn, in Ambialet located at 40 kilometers from the Camping du lac de Bonnefon, the canoe-kayak base offers you three rental formulas for sailing along the high valley of the Tarn. This is the way to contemplate the landscapes from another angle.
